Dakota Johnson Reunites with Alexander Skarsgard (in Shorts!) to Celebrate Their Valentino Ad at L.A. Event

Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgard are back together, this time to celebrate their Valentino Beauty campaign for the new fragrance Vendetta!

The campaign co-stars reunited on the red carpet at the celebration on Wednesday night (September 9) in Burbank, Calif.

The event took place at the iconic motel Safari Inn to capture “the backdrop of the quintessential Californian road trip pitstop.”

The brand revealed, “The night kicked off with an exclusive screening of the Director’s Cut of the Vendetta campaign, giving guests a first look at the extended story behind the fragrance. The energy continued with a special live performance by Yung Lean, followed by a DJ set by Surkin that kept guests dancing late into the night.”

Dakota and Alexander were just two of the many stars in attendance, with Keke Palmer, Dave Franco, Alison Brie, Solange Knowles, Sophia Bush, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham just some of the other faces there.

The actors are both brand ambassadors for Valentino Beauty and they are showing that the “scents of unstoppable passion” lead to a whole lot of passion between lovers.

The ad features the Pet Shop Boys song “It’s a Sin” and shows Dakota and Alexander in a passionate romance that takes them across a mountainside and around a picturesque house.

At the end of the ad, Dakota says, “Vendetta.” Alexander adds, “The scents of unstoppable passion.” They then say in unison, “Valentino.”
