Remy Ma isn’t ready to let Papoose move on with his boxer beauty Claressa Shields just yet. The “Conceited” rapper took to Instagram on Sept. 10 with a stern message for her estranged husband: sign the divorce papers and “prove” you’re ready to really commit to Shields.

After seemingly throwing some “Mr. & Mrs. Panini” shade at the couple earlier this week, Remy returned to social media, this time directly from her Instagram feed, putting her divorce timeline front and center and challenging Papoose to finally put pen to paper and “prove [his] love.”
Remy Ma and Papoose were married for nearly 17 years, beginning with their phone wedding in May 2008. The couple later separated in late 2024, before Remy filed for divorce in May 2025. And now, it looks like she’s ready to finally put the divorce process to rest. The rapper shared a video of herself riding around with the car window down, muting the original audio and replacing it with her and rising hip-hop star Millyz’s track, “Say Yea.”
Her caption initially looked like a straightforward plug for the song — but the hashtags in the post appeared to be directly aimed at Papoose.
And, of course, that’s where things got spicy.
One hashtag read, “NOBODYYYY want Ya Man,” while another doubled down with, “And I mean nobody.” Then came the kicker: “He’s All Yours Boo.”
Remy followed the hashtags with a message about not allowing anyone to play in her face before naming Papoose and revealing that their next divorce court date was allegedly for today, Sept. 11. She also appeared to challenge him to sign the divorce papers once and for all.
“Sidebar: Only thing that can play in my face is this sun . RemFunFact: Court TOMORROW 9:30am Ayo Pap prove ya luv😂📋✍🏾pleaseeeeee,” she penned.
She threw some “Mr. & Mrs. Panini” shade at the couple beforehand. Shields clapped back.
Remy had already stirred things up earlier Thursday when she shared a photo of a sandwich sitting inside a panini press, according to screenshots shared by The Shade Room. The seemingly innocent food photo came with a message that appeared to be aimed at Papoose and Claressa Shields, who have been romantically linked since 2024.
Papoose and Shields reportedly began dating in September 2024 after first meeting at a boxing match in July of that year.
Remy appeared to suggest that “Mr. and Mrs. Panini” were bothering her again while she was simply minding her business.
But that was far from the only social-media smoke flying around.
Before Remy’s post, Shields had referenced “3 loser btchs linking up” and “3 btcs who can’t whoop” her in a post shared to X on Sept. 10. The comments appeared to be aimed at Remy after the rapper linked up with two of Shields’ boxing rivals, Alycia Baumgardner and Amanda Serrano, for what appeared to be a photoshoot.
“Weak a** h**s,” Shields add in one X tweet.
Shields also called on Remy’s rumored boo, battle rapper Eazy E, to come get his “b***h.” She additionally accused Remy of being pressed about her relationship with Papoose.
When an X user claimed Remy was acting “like she got left,” Shields fired back:
“Crazy sh*t!!! Mind you I been with this man 2+ years!!!”
Papoose made his feelings permanent with a tattoo of Claressa Shields’ name.
While the women have been trading social-media shots, Papoose has made his own very permanent statement. Before scoring a sixth-round TKO victory over Kaye Scott on Aug. 15 during her comeback fight to reclaim her titles, Papoose showed his support for the champion in a particularly permanent way: He got her name tattooed on his arm.
The rapper documented the tattoo session on social media and made it clear to commenters that his feelings for Shields were meant to last. He also thanked the tattoo artist for bringing the tribute to life.

Then, just one month later, Remy Ma found herself at the center of another relationship rumor.
On Sept. 3, Remy Ma and Millyz dropped their flirty track “Say Yea,” and the accompanying music video immediately got people talking.
The visual was packed with steamy moments between the two rappers, but it was Millyz’s behind-the-scenes Instagram photo dump that really sent fans into detective mode.
In the photos and videos, Remy and Millyz, who the internet has playfully dubbed “Palepoose,” were seen hanging out in a bathroom while their song played in the background. At one point, Millyz appeared to grab Remy around her throat in a playful moment.
Naturally, fans started wondering whether the chemistry was simply part of the rollout or if there was something more happening behind the scenes.
