'Dancing With the Stars' Season 35: Which Celebrities Have Dance Experience? | Just Jared

Dancing With the Stars is returning for Season 35 in just a few days, and some of this year’s celebrity contestants will enter the ballroom with a lot more dance experience than others.

The ABC competition series will return with a two-night premiere on Tuesday (September 15) and Wednesday (September 16), with 16 celebrities competing for the Mirrorball Trophy.

While some of this year’s stars are complete newcomers to dance, others have backgrounds ranging from years of ballet classes to professional dancing careers.

In fact, Jenna Dewan and Harry Shum Jr. both worked professionally as dancers before becoming successful actors, while Julia Stiles trained extensively for one of the most famous dance movies of the early 2000s.

So, who has the most experience? And does that necessarily give them an advantage on Dancing With the Stars?
