Look Inside Hallmark's Finale Event for 'Paris Is Always a Good Idea' with Lacey Chabert & More! | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

The season finale of Lacey Chabert‘s new Hallmark+ series Paris Is Always a Good Idea is now streaming and the cast of the show got together to watch it at an early screening!
Lacey joined co-stars Rebecca Hanssen, Scott Michael Foster, Julien Marlon Samani, and Barbara Niven at the season finale event on Wednesday night (August 26) at Soho House West Hollywood in Los Angeles.
The night began with red carpet moments and a cocktail hour, followed by a screening of the finale, and then a reception after the episode was over.

Lacey and Michelle Vicary, SVP and Head of Programming for Hallmark Media, both spoke before the screening, highlighting all of the hard work put in by numerous people in the room.
Lacey noted that she was trying not to get choked up while speaking, but the reason why she does always “get choked up when I talk about Hallmark is because these aren’t just jobs. I know I speak on behalf of, I think, all of us here, but for me especially they are not just jobs anymore. We’ve become friends, we’ve become like family, and I just feel it’s a true privilege and a blessing to be able to be a part of creating something that does make everyone’s day a little bit better. And I think now more than ever to be part of something that adds some goodness and some love.”

Custom Paris-themed cookies were on hand, which Lacey even served up!
Guests inside the screening also snacked on popcorn that was served from a retro, self-serve popcorn machine at the front of the private screening room. The theater was decked out in individual plush couches with an ottoman for every audience member to put their feet up during the screening.

Several of the stars brought their significant others!
Lacey was joined by her husband and daughter, who both prefer to stay out of the spotlight, but she made sure to give them a special shout-out from the stage during her intro.
Scott was joined by his wife, actress Carson Fagerbakke, and Julien was joined by his girlfriend, actress Jessica Kemejuk.

We chatted with the cast at the event and learned their thoughts on potentially making a second season of Paris Is Always a Good Idea and where they think their characters might go in the future.

More attendees at the event included “Paris Is Always a Good Idea” book author Jenn McKinlay, as well as many of the people behind-the-scenes at Hallmark Channel who are bringing you all of this amazing content year-round, including President Darren Abbott, Chief Communications Officer Annie Howell, SVP Original Series Marybeth Sprows, VP Casting and Talent Tatiana Erasme, and more.
