Donald Trump Speaks Out After Maria Bartiromo’s Sudden Exit from Fox News After 12 Years

Donald Trump is sharing his thoughts on Maria Bartiromo‘s shocking exit from Fox News.

If you didn’t see the news, the network announced on Thursday, September 3 that they were cutting ties with the 58-year-old news anchor after she spent 12 years with them.

“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” Fox News said in a statement (via THR). No reason for the exit was given at this time, and it’s unclear if she was fired or left on her own.

Following news of Maria‘s exit, Trump, 80, took to his Truth Social to react.

“I can’t believe Maria Bartiromo is no longer going to have her great show(s) on FoxNews/Business,” he wrote. “Three different shows, always number one. Maria is a total professional, and a true warrior. Her fans, of which there are many, will not be happy. God bless you, Maria!”

During her tenure at Fox News, Maria interviewed Trump several times and co-moderated two debates during the 2016 presidential cycle.

Maria‘s Fox Business Network show, Mornings with Maria, aired its final episode on Thursday and the series has now been rebranded to Mornings with Fox Business.

Her other show, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street, is now being rebranded FBN’s Wall Street and will be hosted this week by Cheryl Casone. After that, it will feature rotating anchors.
