'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Is Coming to Streaming: Find Out When to Watch - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially heading home after becoming one of the year’s biggest box office hits.

The sequel will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu on July 29, 20th Century Studios announced on Tuesday (June 23).

Fans won’t have to wait long to own a physical copy, either. The movie will be available to buy on digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, starting June 30, followed by a 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release on July 28.

Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci all return for the follow-up, which brings viewers back to the world of Runway Magazine. The film follows Andy Sachs as she returns to the publication as its new features editor, while Miranda Priestly faces new threats to her glossy print empire.

The sequel, directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, has already made a major impact in theaters. The movie grossed more than $676 million worldwide, helping The Devil Wears Prada franchise cross the $1 billion mark.

The home release will also include bonus features, including fashion and music featurettes, a gag reel, filmmaker audio commentary, and the “Runway” music video by Lady Gaga and Doechii.

A The Devil Wears Prada 2-Movie Collection will also be available as a digital and DVD physical bundle.

Patrick Brammel also stars in the film as Andy’s new boyfriend and at least one critic has said his character felt like a “useless” addition to the film. His wife defended him in new comments.
