Sombr Goes Shirtless, Wears Bold Statement Belt at MTV VMAs 2026 | Just Jared

Sombr dressed like a rockstar while arriving at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 27) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old musician arrived shirtless, wearing just a fur coat, with leather pants. However, his belt is the standout piece of the outfit!

All about Sombr’s fashion at the MTV VMAs

Sombr‘s black and white fur coat is from the ERL FW26 Ready-to-Wear collection. The custom artisanal look features a faux fur skunk coat paired with flared leather trousers cut from deadstock washed leather, and is layered with a handmade silver and pearl skate chain by artist Tom Binns.

He completed the look with a crystal and stone encrusted “Sex” belt buckle, which was assembled by designer Eli Russell Linnetz from pieces he has collected over the years. The full look was designed by Eli and made in his Venice Beach studio.

Sombr is nominated for 2 awards at the VMAs

Sombr is up for two awards tonight: Best Alternative for “Homewrecker” and Best Art Direction for “My Body Isn’t Ready.”

He is also set to hit the stage with Raye and Teddy Swims for a tribute to the late George Michael.
