Mike Myers Says 'Austin Powers 4' Is Happening - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

It has been over 20 years since the last Austin Powers movie (Goldmember), but it sounds like a fourth one is in the works!

There has been talks of a fourth movie for many years, but nothing has truly come to fruition.

However, while making a guest appearance on Trevor Noah’s World Cup Watch Party, star and creator Mike Myers offered a simple response when a fan asked if we were ever going to get Austin Powers 4.

“Yes,” he said, while not offering up any other details, via Variety.

This new update comes as Mike is starring in a new Verizon ad, “Menace Mobile.”

Mike reprises his Austin Powers character Dr Evil, alongside Seth Green as his son Scott Evil, Rob Lowe as Middle Number 2 and Mindy Sterling as Frau Farbissina, Dr Evil’s henchwoman.

Back in 2022, Mike addressed the possibility of a fourth movie and just gave a “big, firm, written maybe on that.”

Previously, franchise director Jay Roach said another Austin Powers movie would have to all be up to Mike Myers.

“I wouldn’t say ‘never’ never, but it does depend on Mike having something that he’s inspired about and after all these years it hasn’t quite clicked yet,” he told Deadline in 2020. “But I’m always game for anything he wants to do. He’s a genius and he helped me get started and it was a blast.”
