Lionel Richie was hospitalized over the weekend in the intensive care unit (ICU), and fans grew extremely worried over this report.
If you did not see, the 77-year-old entertainer went to a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri over the weekend. TMZ reported Lionel was admitted to the intensive care unit “to have some tests run” after he fell ill during the show.

A source told THR that he “self-checked in after the show Saturday night” and in positive news, he “is doing okay.”

During his Saturday night show, Lionel reportedly needed to sit down for his final song, “All Night Long.” His team brought him a chair on stage after he appeared to be struggling, according to TMZ.
Back in June, Lionel was hospitalized after he got sick on stage at another show. He told the crowd at that performance that he was feeling “dizzy” while performing and he had to sit down. He was reportedly met with paramedics backstage and taken by ambulance to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
