Jaxson Dart‘s girlfriend Marissa Ayers has posted a sweet video and statement amid his brutal injury.
If you don’t know, the 23-year-old quarterback for the New York Giants injured his knee, specifically his MCL, PCL and meniscus, in a game against the Los Angeles Rams and had season-ending surgery.
Jameis Winston has taken over as QB1, and they recently traded to Vikings’ J.J. McCarthy.
Marissa Ayers posted an emotional caption for Jaxson Dart as he recovers from surgery
“It has been an emotional few days. My sweet Jax- Your unconditional love and drive for this sport will push you through this temporary pain being away from it. We now place full trust in God to wrap His arms around you to heal your body and lift your spirits,” Marissa captioned her TikTok. “The road to recovery begins, and I promise to keep you covered in so much love and prayer though it all. Jax you are the most determined and resilient person I know. You inspire me to show up for myself- my dreams and goals even when it’s difficult.”
She continued, “So I promise to remind you of that strength you have instilled in me every single day. There is not a doubt in my mind you will come back even stronger than before. You can do everything you set your mind to- I’ve seen it firsthand, and I’ll be here to hold your hand each step of the way.”

Dating rumors first surfaced back in October after the two were reportedly spotted together at a Halloween party.
Fueling the buzz, Marissa attended a Giants game against the New England Patriots in early December, even snapping a photo with the athlete’s mom. She later posted a TikTok video from New York City showing her wearing an oversized Giants tee.
Marissa, 23, made things Instagram official on Friday (January 9) by sharing a carousel of cute photos with the New York Giants quarterback, also 23. “rumor has it…” she teased in the caption, tagging Jaxson.
