Grace Gummer Reacts to Jack Schlossberg's Criticism of Her 'Love Story' Performance as Caroline Kennedy - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Grace Gummer is sharing how she feels following Jack Schlossberg‘s criticism of her performance as his mother, Caroline Kennedy.
Grace, 40, played Caroline in the FX series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, a show that Jack has been vocally critically of since the outset.
During one of his more recent appearances on Next Question with Katie Couric, Jack said he actually showed his mom a clip of Grace‘s performance they were “laughing so hard.”
He said the actress, Grace, “was freaking out,” and “we’re just laughing so hard, as if that’s how my mom acts.”
Asked how she felt about his feedback, Grace told The Hollywood Reporter that she “can’t imagine what it’s like to see your life portrayed onscreen.”
“My goal was to play her with honesty and compassion and delicacy. I have an immense amount of respect for her,” she said, adding that no one from the Kennedy family has tried to get in touch with her, but if Caroline wanted to, she “would let her speak.”
All nine episodes of Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette are now streaming on Hulu. Find out which love story the show is likely to tackle in its second season!
