Donald Trump Loudly Booed During National Anthem at NBA Finals 2026 Game 3 at Madison Square Garden - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

President Donald Trump did not receive the warmest welcome at the 2026 NBA Finals.

Amid major criticism, Trump, 79, attended Game 3 of the Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs on Monday night (June 8) at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Before the game began, Grammy-nominated R&B singer and Broadway actor Avery Wilson took to the court to perform the National Anthem.

During the National Anthem, a video of Trump appeared on the jumbotron and the audience immediately started loudly booing him, which you can see on X. He is sitting up in a private suite with his 19-year-old granddaughter Kai Trump.

A fan inside MSG also took to X to share a video of Trump getting booed.

Earlier in the evening as Trump‘s motorcade made it’s way to Madison Square Garden, fans loudly booed him and held up signs that read, “GO KNICKS, F–K TRUMP,” and, “See You in Hell, Trump.” You can see that video HERE.

Due to Trump‘s appearance at Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals, the watch party outside of Madison Square Garden was canceled. A Secret Service agent further explained why.
