Conan O'Brien Reveals What Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Wedding Was Really Like, Addresses Wild Rumors | Just Jared

Conan O’Brien is opening up about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden.

He attended with his wife Liza Powel O’Brien and discussed the event as “wonderful” and “beautiful” during the Sunday (August 30) episode of his podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend with guest Andy Daly.

Conan praises Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler officiated Taylor and Travis‘ wedding and Conan had nothing but nice things to say about his role, sharing that the ceremony was a sincere event and not just a celebrity spectacle.

“Adam Sandler was brilliant and really sweet and perfection,” he said. “And I keep bothering him because we’re friends. I keep telling him how it’s one of the finest things I’ve seen a person do. He just hit the tone. He was funny. He was sweet. It was perfection.”

He also praised the performances by Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, who he says were “just fantastic.”

Which wedding rumors did Conan address?

Besides praising the wedding, Conan also addressed some of the wilder rumors that have been circulating, adding that he was being “very discreet” out of respect for their privacy. He did confirm that no phones were allowed.

“People gave up their phones, which I think was a good idea,” he said.

The former late-night host also appeared to address rumors there weren’t enough places to sit, explaining it was a reception with places to sit, but “mostly people were standing and talking, and there’s music.”

Conan also jokingly said he gifted the couple a rice cooker, before revealing he actually didn’t get them a wedding gift.

“But I should’ve,” he added.
