Charlize Theron helped kick off a star-studded weekend of food, wine and philanthropy in Malibu!
The Oscar-winning actress hosted the opening night of the second annual Malibu Food & Wine celebration, which took place over three days at Saddlerock Ranch and brought together celebrities, acclaimed chefs, winemakers and more.
Charlize hosted an intimate dinner on Friday in support of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), the organization she founded in 2007 to help advance the health, safety and opportunities of young people throughout Southern Africa.
More than 150 guests attended the opening night, which featured a five-course farm-to-table dinner from chefs Andrew Zimmern, Bryan Voltaggio, Michael Voltaggio and Malibu Food & Wine co-founder Marcel Vigneron, with each course paired with wines from Marine Layer Wines.
Other guests spotted on Friday included Adam Richman, Rupert Sanders, Melissa Cohen Biden, Kyle Rudolph, R’Bonney Gabriel, Rebecca Reid and photographer Norman Seeff.
The festivities continued Saturday with an Italian Night hosted by Man v. Food star Adam Richman in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu. Celebrity guests included Victoria Justice, her sister Madison Grace Reed, Christel Khalil, Tara Strong, Kathleen Herles and more.
The weekend wrapped on Sunday with a family-friendly Country Cookout featuring barbecue, live-fire cooking, California wines and live music. Olivia Wilde was among the stars who stepped out for the final day, alongside Adam, Rocky Barnes, Hunter Biden, Melissa Cohen Biden, Timothy Granaderos, Cisco Adler, Lindsey Pelas, Ahmet Zappa and Shana Muldoon Zappa.
Malibu Food & Wine was founded by husband-and-wife team Marcel Vigneron and Lauren Rae Levy. Philanthropy remained a major focus throughout the weekend, with Friday’s dinner benefiting CTAOP and a portion of proceeds from Saturday and Sunday’s events benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu. The event also continued its support of C-CAP, which provides culinary education, scholarships, job training and career opportunities to underserved students.
