Taylor Swift appears to be counting down to something!

The 36-year-old superstar has been dropping a series of mysterious clues over the past 24 hours, and the latest development might be the biggest one yet.

On Tuesday (September 22),Taylor‘s official store began redirecting visitors to a password-protected page featuring a countdown clock.

And fans won’t have to wait very long to find out what it means.

When Does Taylor Swift’s Mysterious Countdown End?

The countdown on Taylor’s official website is set to end at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday (September 22).

The page currently displays the message “ENDS SEP 22 AT 2PM ET” beneath the countdown and also includes an option to enter the store using a password.

The mysterious update immediately sent Swifties into detective mode, especially because it comes amid several other changes across Taylor‘s online presence.

Taylor Swift Has Been Dropping Several Mysterious Clues

Earlier Tuesday, Taylor changed her social media bio to read, “And, baby, that’s sh0w business f0r y0u.”

Fans quickly noticed that all three O’s had been replaced by the number 0, resulting in three zeroes appearing in the phrase.

Her official fan page Taylor Nation also changed its bio to the same message.

Fans have additionally noticed other mysterious changes across Taylor‘s online presence, including a new third page appearing within the “Read My Letter” section of her website.

That page has not yet been revealed.

The latest developments also follow Taylor‘s surprise appearance at the 2026 Emmy Awards, where she delivered a series of cryptic phrases that producers later confirmed were Easter eggs.

What Do Fans Think Taylor Swift Is Announcing?

At the moment, Taylor has not revealed what the countdown is for, but fans already have several theories.

One of the biggest theories is that she could finally be preparing to announce Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version), the re-recorded version of her 2006 debut album.

That theory has picked up steam because the original Taylor Swift album will celebrate its 20th anniversary on October 24.

Taylor revealed last year that she had already fully re-recorded her debut album, though she opted not to immediately release it after purchasing the masters to her first six albums.

Some fans also think the countdown could be connected to a deluxe edition of The Life of a Showgirl, new merchandise or another vinyl release.

Others are still holding out hope for Reputation (Taylor’s Version) or even a new tour announcement.
