Andy Cohen is speaking out about the politics of the women of the Real Housewives franchise.

During a Q&A session on Threads, the 58-year-old Bravo exec addressed concerns about the MAGA-leaning politics of several of the Housewives cast members on the series.

Orange County‘s Gretchen Rossi and Kelly Dodd have voiced support for President Donald Trump over the years, while Vicki Gunvalson faced backlash for MAGA-adjacent social media activity.

“Why so many MAGA women?? I can’t watch OC anymore because of them,” one fan asked Andy.

“If we didn’t showcase people with different POV’s there would be no show. Also it’s a show about the women and their relationships, not about politics,” he responded.

“Is there anyone from Bravo world who you think should run for office or do you think famous people shouldn’t run for office?” another fan asked.

“So far the track record for reality stars running for office is TERRIBLE. so I’m hesitant to say I think there are some really smart people on Bravo with great communication skills who could be effective in public service though,” he answered.
