Aaron Rodgers Reveals Wife Brittani Helped Reunite Him With His Family After Years of Estrangement | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Aaron Rodgers is opening up about reuniting with his parents Darla and Ed Rodgers, along with older brother Luke, after years apart.

The 42-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback spoke out on NFL Networks’ Good Morning Football about the reconciliation.

“There’s been a lot of conversation about it outside of my own conversation for so many years,” he said of his family on the episode.

“A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together,” he said, revealing that his wife Brittani encouraged the reunion.

“It’s been a couple-year process now, the conversations with them,” he added.

“I’ve been very closed off about that part of my life, and I want to keep it that way. But there’s been a narrative that’s gone on for too long that I kind of wanted to shut down, and it’s been really beautiful to reconnect with them, all of them,” Aaron said.

He had been estranged from his family for more than a decade, but he reunited with his parents and one of his brothers in new photos shared to social media last month.

Aaron‘s younger brother Jordan Rodgers, who famously was a contestant on The Bachelorette in 2016, has been married to JoJo Fletcher since 2022. The family drama was a storyline on Jordan‘s season of The Bachelorette in 2016.

Aaron married Brittani last year, and has remained mostly private about the romance.
