Woody Harrelson Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance with Wife Laura Louie at ‘Brothers’ Premiere

Woody Harrelson is hitting the red carpet with his wife!
The 65-year-old Emmy-winning actor made a rare red carpet appearance with wife Laura Louie at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ series Brothers on Thursday evening (September 18) held at Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.
In the new comedy series, Woody and longtime pal Matthew McConaughey play fictionalized versions of themselves.

How long have Woody and Laura been married?
If you didn’t know, Woody and Laura first met in 187 when she worked as his personal assistant.
They have been married since 2008 and share three daughters: Deni, 32, Zoe, 29, and Makani, 20.
Laura prefers to stay out of the spotlight and very rarely joins Woody for public appearances. Last year, she joined Woody at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for his Ella McCay director James L. Brooks.

What is Brothers about?
Brothers is inspired by Woody and Matthew‘s real-life friendship and rumors that they could be half-brothers, which started with his own mother!
The upcoming comedy follows the actors “whose friendship is thrown into chaos when they uncover a decades-old secret: they might actually be brothers. After Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, he loads up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch. But what begins as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac (played by Holland Taylor), accidentally lets slip a long-buried secret that the two friends might actually be brothers. As Woody turns the ranch upside down in pursuit of the truth, Matthew finds himself juggling an entirely different identity crisis: a potential run for governor of Texas. The result is a heartfelt, chaotic and wildly funny story about friendship, family, fame and the messy line between myth and reality.”
Also in attendance was Brittany Ishibashi, who plays Woody‘s fictionalized wife along with Oona Yaffe and Highdee Kuan, who play his fictionalized daughters.

When does Brothers premiere?
The eight-episode series will premiere with the first two episodes on Wednesday, September 23rd, on Apple TV, followed by one new episode weekly through November 4th.
