You might be surprised by some of the roles that Charlie Hunnam came very close to booking!

The 46-year-old Emmy-winning actor has become a fan-favorite actor in Hollywood since making his debut in the ’90s. His popularity exploded with Sons of Anarchy in 2008. Since then, he’s starred in a variety of movies and TV shows, most recently, Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story.

Like any actor, there have been some projects that Charlie auditioned for, which ultimately did not work out.

Over the years he’s opened up about six projects that he could have appeared in. Some of them he was offered and had to turn down. Others he did not book. The list includes two popular superheroes and roles in several other top-tier franchises!
