The stars of Lanterns are bringing the series across the pond!
Aaron Pierre, Kelly Macdonald, and Kyle Chandler stepped out for a photocall to promote the new DC television show at IET London on Monday (August 17) in London, England.
The trio leads the cast of the latest installment in the DCU (DC Universe), which just debuted on HBO Max the night before.
Speaking of the Lanterns premiere, there was a shocking death in the first episode of the series.

In the first episode of the series, Kyle‘s Hal Jordan was killed off, with Aaron‘s John Stewart and Kelly‘s Kerry finding his body on the bleachers.
However, just because his character died, does not mean that we won’t see him as the series progresses. The show takes on a non-linear structure and will jump around in time.
Thus, it actually seems clear we likely will see more of Kyle‘s Green Lantern.
The show’s co-creator Damon Lindelof told Variety, “Whether it’s the right cliffhanger or not is basically in the hands of the audience now. But one of the very first things that was part of the premise was that this is a murder mystery with Green Lantern solving it, and then you sort of start at, ‘Well, who gets murdered and why are we supposed to care about them?’ The more that we talked about it, the more that it kept coming back to the idea of, ‘What if it was one of them?’”
New episodes of Lanterns debut on Sunday nights on HBO and HBO Max.
