Morgan is the daughter of actress and model Karen Somerville and screenwriter Harry “Coco” Brown. Her step-dad was the legendary actor Peter O’Toole.

Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown split in a few times but then got back together

After dating for more than six years, the couple broke up in 2020. They also reportedly broke up previously in 2016, but later reunited in 2017.

In August 2020, an insider told Us Weekly that the pair handled the breakup “with maturity” and reportedly split because Gerard “couldn’t fully settle down,” but they appear to have worked out there issues and rekindled their relationship in early 2021.

As of September 2026, Morgan and Gerard are still going strong. The couple were spotted taking a stroll together around the West Village neighborhood in New York City on September 29. They were seen holding hands and looked like they were enjoying a cozy day out.
