Whitney Leavitt Shares Current Mormon Beliefs, Gives Update on 'Mormon Wives' Season 5 - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Whitney Leavitt is sharing where she currently stands in her relationship with the Mormon church.
The 33-year-old reality star is best known for her role on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, though she’s leaving the show after the upcoming fifth season.
While appearing on the Just Trish podcast with host Trisha Paytas this week, Whitney opened up about her Mormon beliefs.
“I mean, I say that I’m Mormon, but I’m not Mormon like how I grew up Mormon. If someone were to ask me what my religion was, I would be like, ‘Yeah, I’m a Mormon.’ But not letter of the law,” Whitney said. “I haven’t gone to church in a really, really long time. Every Sunday we had church.”
Whitney confirmed she no longer wears the traditional Mormon undergarments.
“I’m a modern-day Mormon, that’s a great way to put it. [My husband] Connor and I have talked about how we might want to start going to church again. It’s a great feeling too. I love going to church. But culturally, I wouldn’t say I’m your typical Mormon,” she added.

“It’s not completely wrapped up. We just need to finish out the season, which will finish soon, and then that’ll be my last one,” she said.
Whitney‘s husband Connor said the season will be just five episodes.
“They’re having everyone go back to basically do interviews, wrap up a couple of things,” he added. “I think that’ll be a very abbreviated season considering all the things that happened publicly.”
Whitney has hinted that she has a new TV project in the works.
