Sacha Baron Cohen Set to Star in Quentin Tarantino’s First-Ever Stage Play ‘The Popinjay Cavalier’

Sacha Baron Cohen is making his West End debut in an upcoming new play!
The 54-year-old actor has been tapped to star in The Popinjay Cavalier, which also marks acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino‘s first play, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sacha is said to be playing the titular character of the upcoming play, which is being described as a “swashbuckling comedy.”

What is The Popinjay Cavalier about?
Written by Tarantino, the upcoming stage production’s producers say the play is set in 1830s Europe, described as “a rambunctious comedy of deception and disguise inspired by the grand swashbuckling epics of stage and screen.”
Additional plot details are currently unavailable.
The Popinjay Cavalier is set to debut in the spring of 2027 in a yet-to-be-named West End venue.
