Paramount has shared the terrifying trailer for highly-anticipated horror movie Passenger.

The upcoming film from director André Øvredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) has gotten a lot of buzz in recent months thanks to the chilling teaser that’s been playing frequently in theaters.

Now horror fans are getting a longer look at the film, which follows a young couple after they witness a gruesome highway accident.

“They soon realize they did not leave the crash scene alone, as a demonic presence called the Passenger that won’t stop until it claims them both turns their van life adventure into a nightmare,” reads the logline shared by Paramount.

New footage in the trailer shows the couple examining their car and noticing three strange scratches on the side. A woman warns them that “no one outruns the Passenger.” Other creepy moments include the couple finding a field of what appears to be dead bodies, a garbled voice coming from the radio, and lots of brutal attacks.

Paramount also shared a chilling poster that has the tagline: “130 million people take road trips every year. 15,400 of them are never seen again.”

Passenger has not yet been rated. It will be released in theaters on May 22.
