Asa Germann Joins Marvel’s ‘X-Men’ Movie Cast as Angel

Asa Germann has joined the Marvel universe!
On Thursday (September 10), The Hollywood Reporter announced that the 28-year-old actor has been cast to play Angel in the upcoming X-Men movie.
Asa is best known for his roles in Scream 7, The Boys, and Gen V.

Angel, who was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, was introduced in the debut comic book issue of X-Men released back in 1963.
He has feathered wings on his back, which give him the ability to fly. At one point, Angel was maimed and his wings were replaced by metal projectile-shooting wings by the villain Apocalypse.

Asa joins previously announced stars Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Adam Driver as Mr. Sinister, Maya Boyd as Storm, and Inde Navarrette as Rogue.
X-Men movie lands a release date
The film will officially be released on May 5, 2028 and is directed by Jake Schreier, who previously helmed Thunderbolts.
