New Report Claims Hayden Panettiere Once Dated Boyfriend Brian Hickerson's Brother Zach | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Possible new details are emerging about Hayden Panettiere‘s personal life in the wake of her death at 36.

The late Scream actress was once romantically involved with Zach Hickerson, a 38-year-old pastor and founder of an independent church in Nashville and the brother of her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson, according to a new report.

She allegedly dated Zach in 2019, while she and Brian were on and off in their romance between 2018 and 2020, Us Weekly reported Wednesday (August 19).

Brian was arrested numerous times during their relationship on charges including domestic violence in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, he pled no contest to two felony counts of injuring a partner. He spent 13 days in jail, and the other charges were dropped, while his 2019 case was dismissed.

“No comment, bro, and with no offense to you and what you’re trying to do, this is private property. Please respect our privacy. I’m not going to answer anything that you ask me. ‘I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t mind just leaving us alone. I know you’re just doing your job,” Zach told the outlet’s reporter when asked for comment at this home.

An E! News article published at that time refuted the romance, with a source saying: “Hayden and Zach are not dating, but she has been relying on him for additional support to get through this time as he is the closest thing to Brian. Zach and Brian are very similar – they look alike and act alike, but Zach isn’t nearly as explosive as Brian.”

Brian and Zach were on the scene at the apartment complex where Hayden was found dead, according to the police report. Zach was apparently “very emotional” when EMS were working to try and save Hayden‘s life. Get more details from the police report.

An officer has since confirmed that Zach told authorities at the scene that Hayden “was his brother’s girlfriend,” via E! News.

Brian and brother Zach were seen at the property of their grandmother, which is “about five miles away” from the Airbnb where she was found dead of a suspected overdose on Sunday (August 16). Police conducted a welfare check at the residence on Wednesday (August 19).
