Monica Barbaro made a few rare comments about her boyfriend Andrew Garfield!

If you don’t know, the pair have reportedly been dating since early in 2025 and keep their relationship somewhat private.

Now, the 36-year-old One Night Only actress was asked about how the 42-year-old actor inspires her.

She told InStyle, “I mean, he’s one of the best actors of his generation, our generation, I just learned a lot from his approach to the material and to developing character, and I felt very fortunate to get to witness that in real time.”

He inspired her work too. She recalled telling herself: “Oh s-t, I really have to step up my game and make sure I’m a proper, legitimate scene partner.”

If you did not see, Luca Guadagnino‘s Artificial was dropped by Amazon MGM Studios. Both Andrew and Monica co-star in the film. It was eventually picked up by Neon.

“I don’t want to sound callous about it, but I wasn’t concerned,” Monica said of it all. “I just trusted so much of the feedback I was getting about the movie, that it was really well liked, and I trust in Luca.”
