Lauren Boebert is responding to allegations that she had sexual relationships with three members of her staff.

A complaint submitted to the House Committee on Ethics on Thursday (September 17) alleges that the 39-year-old Colorado congresswoman had relationships with three current or former House employees who worked under her supervision.

The complaint also alleges that Lauren arranged for one of the staffers to receive a $200,000 payment to prevent her from filing her own ethics complaint.

Lauren is strongly denying all of the allegations.

What Is Lauren Boebert Accused Of?

The complaint was filed by David Wheeler, founder of the political group American Muckrakers, and names former district director Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff, district chief of staff Raven Finegan and former chief of staff Jeffrey Small.

It alleges that Lauren had sexual relationships with the three staffers while they worked under her supervision. House rules prohibit members of Congress from engaging in sexual relationships with employees they supervise.

The complaint further alleges that Clarice received a $200,000 payment in March 2025 after she allegedly planned to file an ethics complaint of her own.

A spokesperson for Lauren denied the allegations in a statement to People.

“Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever,” the spokesperson said. “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”

The spokesperson also claimed that the allegations came from an activist who has previously made accusations against Lauren that had previously been fact-checked as false.

One of Lauren Boebert’s Former Staffers Also Denies the Allegations

Clarice separately denied the allegations involving her.

“These allegations regarding me are entirely false, defamatory, and beyond ridiculous. There is absolutely no truth to any part of this claim,” she told the Colorado Times Recorder.

As of publication, the House Ethics Committee has not announced that it is opening a review or investigation into the allegations.

Lauren filed for divorce from her husband Jayson Boebert in 2023 and is currently dating real estate broker Kyle Pearcy.

A few years ago, the politician faced a scandal after surveillance footage showed her and her date apparently groping each other during a performance of Beetlejuice.
