Kyle Richards Tearfully Reveals Devastating 30th Anniversary Message from Ex Mauricio Umansky | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Kyle Richards‘ 30th anniversary was a bittersweet day for her.
Three years after she and estranged husband Mauricio Umansky announced they were separating, the 56-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star struggled while trying to mark her 30th wedding anniversary earlier this year on January 20.
“I’m just having a moment,” Kyle said through tears while talking to Vicki Gunvalson in a preview for the August 16 episode of Bravo’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
“Today’s my 30-year anniversary,” she continued. “It makes me sad.”
Kyle became even more emotional when she shared the message Mauricio, 56, sent her that day.

“He sent me a text and it just sent me off,” Kyle said. “He said today’s always such a hard day and I love you. He said I don’t know how we got here. I thought we were stronger than that. I really had thought that.”
In a confessional, Vicki, 64, empathized with Kyle, especially after her painful 2010 divorce from Donn Gunvalson.
“My heart is breaking for Kyle,” the RHOC star said, “because they’ve got everything everyone is looking for and 30 years of marriage, all of a sudden it’s dissolving.”
In her own confessional, Kyle admitted that going through a breakup in the public eye has not been easy for her.
“The thing that bothered me the most honestly was people saying that we gave them hope that true love existed,” she reflected. “And now, that went out the window for them. But I understand people thinking like that.”
Kyle was then hit with some tough love from Vicki when she mentioned the word “ashamed” during their conversation.

“You should be,” Vicki fired back, “you let your family down. You let your kids down. You’re showing them it’s okay to bail out when things get tough. It’s not okay.”
She continued, “For me, you guys were the epitome of staying together forever. You’re supposed to grow old together, you’re supposed to do life together.”
While Vicki‘s words seemed harsh at first, she later explained that her advice was coming from a good place.
“I wish somebody would have come up to me when I decided to divorce Donn 16 years ago to say, ‘Stop,'” she said in a confessional. “I was caught in this being on a reality TV show and traveling and nobody told me, ‘Shape up, Vicki. This TV life that you’re living is temporary.'”
Kyle then admitted in her own confessional that she hopes she doesn’t end up as regretful as Vicki was over her divorce.
“When I hear Vicki say that the pain still lives within her, it scares me,” she said. “I want to be past this. I don’t want to be Vicki.”
Last year, Kyle confirmed that she was “in a relationship” with someone following her separation from Mauricio.
