Kristen Bell Reveals Her Family's Possible 2026 Halloween Costume—It Involves 22 People! | Just Jared

Kristen Bell is getting hyped for Halloween and has a huge costume idea.

The 46-year-old Nobody Wants This star spoke to People in a new interview published on Sunday (September 20) about how important the holiday is to her.

“My family knows it, and they show me a lot of love,” she said, before going into detail about how they like to go all out with their costumes.

Kristen said they’ve done massive group costumes every year, with like “22 or so people for the last couple of years,” and she has a great idea for the 2026 theme.

“And this year, I’m not sure what it’ll be, but we’re toying with the idea of Greek mythological figures,” she said, which makes sense considering how big The Odyssey was when it released over the summer.

“It makes the whole group that goes trick-or-treating feel like more of a family, I guess, as opposed to everyone individualized,” she added.

Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepard host an annual Halloween hayride

Kristen said that she and her husband, Dax Shepard, also like to host an annual Halloween hayride around their neighborhood and Dax himself drives it!

It takes significant prep to get everything ready and will start in about two weeks.

“The truck will tow a trailer that we will fill with hay, and we will rig lights on it and make a playlist. And my husband will drive around our neighborhood, and you kind of just give a little thumb and he picks you up and you do a loop to get around to the houses,” she shared. “We’re like the hub house of our neighborhood.”
