Kerry Washington gave guests at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opening something beautiful to look at well before the event officially started.
The actress arrived in Los Angeles on September 19 for the museum’s Opening Night celebration, serving art, beauty and fashion. Kerry looked good, like she belonged in the museum herself.
The “Scandal” star clearly dressed for the occasion, which marked the debut of the new museum founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson. Other stars also made their way to L.A. for the swanky soirée. Queen Latifah and Eboni Nichols, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Al Roker and Deborah Roberts, and more were all spotted celebrating the major opening.

For the occasion, Kerry, styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, wore Look 15 from Wiederhoeft’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
The centerpiece was a pastel pink corset covered in shimmer, complete with a draped bust, delicate straps and a jeweled satin rose at the center. Long ribbons fell from the floral detail, adding movement and drama.
Kerry paired the corset with a floor-length heather-gray skirt that hugged her curves before falling into a soft train. Silver platform heels, a crystal-covered Tyler Ellis clutch and Le Vian jewelry added even more shine.
The whole look screamed Olivia Pope, but make it museum chic.
Her beauty look was just as pretty. Kerry wore her hair swept into a soft updo with one sculpted wave framing her face. Warm pink makeup played off the corset, while her rose-gold bronzer was basically doing overtime, catching the shimmer in her top and pulling out the natural golden undertones in her melanin-rich skin. Deep burgundy nails gave the look an extra pop of color.
From the shimmer to the sculpted details, Kerry gave us a museum-worthy fashion moment from head to toe.
