Four members of KATSEYE hit the pink carpet at the premiere of their new movie KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS on Tuesday (August 4) at AMC The Grove 14 in Los Angeles.

Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Daniela Avanzini, and Yoonchae coordinate in all-black looks while stepping out for the upcoming film’s debut.

Noticeably absent was Sophia Laforteza, who was recently announced to drop out of an upcoming festival performance.

At the premiere, Lara addressed Sophia‘s absence at the event.

“She’s sick right now,” Lara told Entertainment Tonight. “But she sends her love. She wishes she could be here. She says hi!”

Lara also spoke to another missing member from the premiere, Manon Bannerman, who has been on an extended hiatus from the group. However, she is included in the upcoming movie.

When asked why it was important to include her, she said, “She will forever be such an integral part of the journey of KATSEYE, and of course she’s included in the film. It’s so lovely, and we’re so happy to see it. The fans, I think, will be so excited to see it.”

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS will feature “never-before-seen footage, EYEKONS fan videos, and intimate interviews from the group members,” and it “explores the powerful bond between KATSEYE and their global fandom. A love letter to the EYEKONS who helped build this movement, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS reveals why this group’s story is only just beginning.”

“KATSEYE’s first-ever cinema event celebrates the passionate EYEKONS community that has embraced KATSEYE’s journey from the group’s formation to becoming one of pop’s most exciting new global acts,” Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Programming and Content Acquisitions for Trafalgar Releasing, previously shared in a statement. “We are excited to bring the fandom together in theaters around the world for a shared, immersive experience.”

The upcoming movie event is set to debut in theaters worldwide NEXT Wednesday, August 12th. Watch the trailer above!

If you missed it, KATSEYE recently released their new song, “Animal,” off of their upcoming EP, Wild. The latest track from the group was co-written by Ed Sheeran, who shared a BTS video of the making of the song.
