Kate Middleton is sharing the surprising hobby that kept her occupied during her cancer treatment.
The Princess of Wales visited the cancer center The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, England, this past June, per InStyle, and while there chatted with patients about how the chemotherapy impacted her ability to enjoy beloved pastimes like reading.
“I don’t know about you, but I didn’t have the ability to read or really focus on anything,” Kate said in a video from the visit circulating on social media. “[Coloring] was my way of exploring interesting things and being able to do something that did not require an end product, or an end finished piece.”
