Julianne Hough is speaking out with a lovely reaction to her ex-husband Brooks Laich getting remarried.

Brooks tied the knot with former CrossFit athlete Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir this past weekend in an intimate wedding at their home in Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the same town where he married Julianne back in 2017.

Julianne split from Brooks over six years ago, but has maintained a friendly relationship with him in the years since then.

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich ended their relationship in 2020.

Julianne and Brooks got married in 2017 after several years of dating and they separated in May 2020, but ultimately she filed for divorce in November 2020.

Julianne opened up about her changing perception on dating in an interview with E! News in early 2025. It seems to be working for her, too; she told the outlet that “life has been very fun the last month.”

“It kind of brought me back to the joyful, playful side, versus being so serious,” she said. “Sometimes, when you’re intentional, you can get a little bit tunnel vision, and so, I kind of was like, ‘You know what? I’m just gonna be playful and fun.’”
