Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Ex-Husband Ryan Scott Anderson Speaks Out, Doesn’t Think She’s Involved in Ken Urker’s Death

Ryan Scott Anderson is speaking out following the death of ex-wife Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s on-off fiance Ken Urker.

For those who don’t know, Ryan married Gypsy while she was still in prison and he was the one to pick her up upon her release in December 2023. Days later, they were on a press tour in New York City. Their relationship didn’t last long though and they split up just three months later.

Days after Gypsy‘s split from Ryan, she was back together with Ken, who she was previously engaged to while in prison. By the end of 2023, Gypsy welcomed a child into the world with Ken.

Following Ken‘s death this week, Ryan spoke out in a podcast episode of The Sarah Fraser Show.

Ryan said about Ken‘s death, “I hate that this happened… I might reach out, but I’m going to let it breathe. I’m going to try the let the whole family breathe. This isn’t about me. This isn’t anything to do with me. I don’t even know if I should speak on it. It’s just a sad situation… my mind is all over the place. I feel anger, I feel sadness, I’m upset, I feel it all.”

Ryan did reach out to Gypsy‘s dad already though.

“I texted her dad, just to let him know to tell her that I’m here if she needs me. This is a terrible situation. I worry about her, I worry about her daughter, I worry about her family. People are telling me that she’s going to reach out. I don’t know about that. I don’t know if she will or not, but if she does, I will be there for her. Truthfully it would just be being there for her because I always was. I get that people don’t want me to answer that phone call if it happens,” he said.

Ryan confirmed that Gypsy‘s dad did write him back and said, “I will let her know.” Ryan added, “That’s all I ask. I said just let her know I’m sorry and I’m here.”

Ryan was asked if he thinks Gypsy had anything to do with Ken‘s death. He doesn’t think she did.

“Honestly, I don’t think she has anything to do with it. Now, I understand why the police would want to cross their T’s and dot their I’s, especially in her previous conviction, I get why they might look into that. But I highly doubt she had anything to do with it. I would be shocked if she did. I honestly think it was exactly what she said. That is my opinion,” he said.

Authorities have revealed new details about Ken‘s death, including what was found with his body.
