Flavor Flav was a special guest on the red carpet at the season four premiere of Ted Lasso and he presented a very exclusive present to Jason Sudeikis.

The hip-hop legend gifted Jason his very own custom clock necklace while walking the red carpet at the event on Tuesday (August 4) at the BAM Harvey Theater in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Flav has only handed out a handful of custom clock necklaces in the past, to celebs like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and hockey player Hilary Knight.

Flavor Flav and Jason Sudeikis have been friends for years!

Did you know that Flav and Jason have been buddies for a while?!

Back in 2023, Flav was there on the picket line to support Jason and other Hollywood writers during the WGA strike. He wrote at the time, “These people out here striking are just a group of people who care, Hollywood. Not unlike folks at a hip-hop concert whose hands are not in the air.”

In 2024, Jason hosted his Thundergong! charity event in his hometown of Kansas City and Flav was there to perform for the crowd.

Ted Lasso got a surprise fourth season renewal

The third season of Ted Lasso was intended to be the final one and it aired back in spring 2023.

Nearly two years later, Jason confirmed that he would be returning to the show for a fourth season with some big casting updates.

Here’s the synopsis for the new season: “Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”

The new season will make its global debut on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 with one episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through October 7, when the finale will air.

The first three seasons of the hit series are currently available to stream on Apple TV.
