Chris Olsen is speaking out to share more details about his breakup with ex-boyfriend Harrison Dockerty.

The 28-year-old TikTok star revealed his breakup last week while also accusing Harrison of cheating on him. This led to Harrison releasing his own statement about their relationship coming to an end.

In a new video, Chris reveals the dates of the beginning and end of his relationship with Harrison. He also says that he’s “not trying to publicly shame anyone” and that he wants to show fans that “someone else’s mistakes do not define who you are.”

Chris explained the reason behind his new video.

“I’m not going to be crashing out over this whole situation, but I do want to set the example that it is okay to speak up for yourself. That being said, when I share what I’ve been through, I’m not trying to publicly shame anyone. I’m trying to share an experience that I know a lot of people have been through and can relate to and I feel like that’s something I’ve done my whole career on here. So, I’m not trying to generate hate in any direction. I’m trying to show you that someone else’s mistakes do not define who you are.”

Chris talked about Harrison allegedly admitting to cheating and how it’s not the first time it happened to him.

I was in a closed relationship from October 7 till May 25 and then he broke up with me after admitting to cheating. And then the other day at the Olivia Dean concert, I found out that there was a lot more that I didn’t know. Sometimes, people will do something to you and be mad at you for reacting or feeling. And I’ve been cheated on a few times in the past and especially early on each time I would question myself and ask myself what I was doing wrong, what I was missing, what the other person must have been feeling in order to do something that they knew would hurt me so much.

Chris has realized new things about himself through this breakup.

But, I’ve come to realize that I do not need to know the answer to any of those questions. I just need to know how I’m feeling. And however I’m feeling is valid. Especially after going through a betrayal at that level. And speaking up about it does not equal retaliation.

Looking for respect in a relationship is bare minimum and it’s what you and I deserve and it’s what you and I will find. And respect for ourselves is what will lead us there. I know what I deserve, and not just in a relationship sense, but in a life sense too. And at a base level, that is happiness. And I know it seems like I keep taking hits or I get knocked down a lot, but my story is not about how I keep getting knocked down. It’s about how I keep getting up. And I will do whatever I can to pull you up with me. K? We got this. He got this. Okay.

Last year, Chris‘ ex-boyfriend Patrick Johnson called him out publicly and then he responded in a video.
