Bebe Rexha Reveals How Taylor Swift Supported Her During Grammys Dress Struggle

Bebe Rexha is looking back on Taylor Swift‘s support during a difficult time.

While attending the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (September 27), the 37-year-old “Me, Myself & I” singer recalled struggling to find a designer to dress her for the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Speaking to E! News, Bebe revealed that Taylor reached out after she spoke publicly about the situation.

“I remember when I had that whole Grammys situation when I couldn’t find a dress and she reached out to me because we’re the same age, and I thought that was really, really kind of her,” she recalled.

Bebe said that few others reached out, making Taylor‘s support especially meaningful. For someone “at such a high level” to make her feel like she belonged was “really, really nice.”

At this year’s VMAs, Bebe was nominated for Best Dance alongside Faithless for “New Religion.”

Back in 2019, se was up for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys. Ahead of the ceremony, she revealed in a since-deleted Instagram video that several designers had declined to dress her because of her size. She said she wore a size 6-8 at the time.

“And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet. So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big,” she said in a video (via People).

Bebe continued, “You’re saying all the women in the world that are a size 8 and up are not beautiful and that they cannot wear your dresses. So to all the people who said I’m thick and I can’t wear your dress, f— you, I don’t want to wear your f—ing dresses.”
