Arrest Warrant Issued for ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Star Nathan Gallagher After Missed Court Date | Just Jared

Nathan Gallagher is wanted by Australian authorities after failing to appear in court on Tuesday (September 1).
The New South Wales Police Force has issued an arrest warrant for the 28-year-old Below Deck Mediterranean star and is looking for help in locating him.
“Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man wanted on outstanding warrants in Sydney’s north west,” the NSW Police Force shared in a statement. “Nathan Gallagher, aged 28, is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.”
“He is known to frequent the Ermington and Melrose Park areas,” they added. “Nathan is believed to be offshore.”
They added if you have any information in relation to his whereabouts, to reach out to the Rude Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.

Why Nathan Gallagher is wanted by the police
In August, it was revealed that Nathan was arrested and charged with domestic violence in December 2025, related to an incident with his then partner and mother of his son, Gael Cameron, who was also on Below Deck Med.
A hearing had been set for September 1st, and while Gael appeared in court with two supporters to give evidence, Nathan did not show up, and a police prosecutor told the judge that the Australian Border Force advised he was no longer in the country, per The Daily Telegraph.
A police document was tendered upon his conviction, detailing Nathan‘s conduct towards Gael, including choking and strangling.
After Gael reported to the police, they found bruising “along her legs, arms, neck and left side of the face”, swelling to her face, and lacerations inside her lip “consistent with a blow to the face”.
Nathan is said to have denied choking her or covering her mouth.
After his failure to appear in court, the judge convicted him of the crimes in his absence and issued a warrant for his arrest.
“I find the offences proven,” the judge stated, via The Daily Telegraph. “The offences themselves are very serious, with significant maximum penalties, in the context of them being domestic violence committed within the home.”
In addition, the judge finalized an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO), which is essentially a restraining order in Australia, for Gael‘s protection for two years.

Nathan Gallagher recently released his own statement on the domestic violence arrest
Just last week, Nathan released a statement to Rolling Stone about the arrest, offering a different version of what happened.
“I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” he said. “What has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation.”
In his statement, he says he has “contemporaneous video footage from the night in question,” along with messages and other records that “provide important context and show events that have not been publicly reported.”
Nathan adds there are matters of their relationship that have not been made public, including why they broke up, previous allegations Gael made about a former partner, and financial matters.
He says he won’t release anything or make accusations on Instagram, which he has since deleted his account.
“I have kept the evidence and will deal with it through the appropriate channels. But I also don’t believe it is fair for one version of events to be presented publicly as though it is the complete story when there is evidence that may materially contradict or provide significant context to that account.”
“I’m not claiming I was perfect. I wasn’t. I made mistakes and I will take responsibility for my own actions. But I will not accept being portrayed solely through one person’s account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it,” Nathan continued.
He adds that his biggest concern is their son, who will one day be old enough to see everything that has been said about his parents.
“My priority is being recognised as his father, establishing a relationship with him and ultimately finding a way for both of us to move forward and co-parent peacefully,” Nathan concluded. “[I’m] not looking for revenge, and not asking anyone to take my side. I simply want the opportunity for the other side to be heard and for the evidence to be considered.”
Nathan also has a warrant for arrest in Ireland
Irish news website Donegal Daily has also recently reported that Nathan has a live bench warrant for arrest in Dungloe, Ireland, which was issued in April 2025. That warrant stems from a charge of assaulting another man and causing harm in August 2022.
While Nathan is currently starring on Below Deck Mediterranean season 11, which airs new episodes weekly on Monday nights on Bravo, he is said not to be returning for season 12.
The next season is currently in production in Greece, and will feature a crossover with another Bravo series!
