Jennifer Lawrence Reveals What Cosmetic Work She Gets Done, Procedure She Wants But Won't Get | Just Jared

Jennifer Lawrence is addressing cosmetic work she does and doesn’t get done.
The 36-year-old Silver Linings Playbook actress recently spoke out about her beauty routine in a conversation with Vogue.
During the conversation, Jennifer discussed what she does and doesn’t like to do for self-care and maintenance.
What Beauty Procedures Does Jennifer Lawrence Dislike?
“I hate getting my hair colored. I also hate going to the nail salon. I saw a tweet that was like, ‘It’s like going to the hand dentist.’ It’s not relaxing. It’s not fun. It’s really, really boring. It takes so long,” Jennifer said to the outlet.
She added that she’d prefer to have it all happen at once “while, like, driving and getting something done.”
Does Jennifer Lawrence Get Botox?
Yes, Jennifer Lawrence says she gets “baby Botox.”
“I need to have movement in my face – I get baby Botox, but I can’t do a lot. If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty,” she explained.
What Is “Baby Botox”?
Cleveland Clinic says baby Botox aims for the same result as Botox, which is generally to smooth lines and wrinkles on your face, but uses “smaller doses of botulinum toxin during the procedure — that is, ‘baby’ amounts. It’s a quick procedure that’s done in a dermatologist’s office and is injected with a needle.”
What Other Beauty Procedures Is Jennifer Lawrence Considering?
Jennifer Lawrence is “really nervous” about fat transfers, and would like to get buccal fat removal – but hasn’t gotten it done.
“I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I don’t know about that,” she said.
“I mean, I would love to have a buccal fat removal. I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
What Is Buccal Fat Removal?
Here’s a breakdown of buccal fat removal, via Cleveland Clinic: “Buccal fat is fat between your cheekbones and jaw bones in your face. These fat pads help make up the shape of your face. Buccal fat removal is a surgery to remove the fat in this area of your face. This can highlight the bone structure in your face, especially your cheekbones and the hollowed-out areas between your cheeks and jawline. The procedure is also sometimes called a cheek reduction.”
Last year, Jennifer Lawrence listed out the work she’s had done or plans to have done.
