Retired New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning revealed the surprising answer to where he wants his nephew, Arch Manning, to be drafted in the NFL draft.

Eli, who played his entire career with the Giants and won 2 Super Bowls, still lives in the New York area. But he doesn’t want his nephew, who also plays quarterback, to play for the Giants.

Eli Manning Revealed He Would Like to See Arch Manning Play for the Jets

Eli said on the Barstool’s “Pardon My Take” podcast, “For purely selfish reasons, I wouldn’t mind if he went to the Jets, just because I live right there, I could go to games, I could have dinner with him during the week a little bit. I think it’d be great for him to have some family nearby, so I wouldn’t mind him going to the Jets, being up in New York…that’s just my selfish reasons and I think he could help them.”

The New York Jets are a competing team in the NYC area, and they have not had a great past couple of years in the NFL. They are currently 1-3 on the 2026 season. The Jets have three first round draft picks in the 2027 NFL Draft, and they could use all of this draft capital to easily move to the top of the selection board. At this time, Arch, who is projected to be an early day 1 pick, has not officially declared.
