Mike Faist Books New Role After ‘East of Eden’ Release, Will Star in ‘The Maid of Orleans’ with Maude Apatow

Mike Faist has landed his next role!

Days after the release of his new Netflix series East of Eden, Deadline announced on Monday (October 5) that the 34-year-old Tony nominated actor will be starring in the new movie The Maid of Orleans.

Maude Apatow will also be starring in the movie, written and directed by Sarah Elizabeth Mintz.

The Maid of Orleans “follows a young woman who navigates her new job by assisting a famously talented and complicated director on a French production of Joan of Arc.”

Filming is scheduled to begin this week.

Mike‘s casting in the new movie comes after he received rave reviews for his role in East of Eden, which was released last week on Netflix. The limited series also stars Florence Pugh and Christopher Abbott.

The Maid of Orleans marks Mike‘s first movie role since 2024’s Challengers, which he starred in alongside Zendaya and Josh O’Connor.
