Jessica Biel Reveals How ‘Matchbox’ Stunts Impressed Her Sons

Jessica Biel got to do some fun stunts in her new movie Matchbox that impressed her sons!

The 44-year-old actress has been promoting Matchbox the Movie ahead of its October 9 release on Apple TV. She also attended the movie premiere on Monday night (October 5) in New York at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

Jessica sat down for an interview with E! News with her co-stars Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, and Teyonah Parris. She shared that her kids are “definitely excited” about the film.

She and her husband Justin Timberlake share sons, Silas, 11, and Phineas, 6. And according to The Sinner alum, they think she’s “cool” because she can do some of “those things now,” referring to the new driving skills she learned while working on the film.

“I’ve gotta be honest, I’m not like ripping donuts at drop off,” she said. “But if you asked, maybe I would.”

Jessica continued, “It’s pretty cool to have the skills and know in the back pocket maybe I could pull it out for a party trick sometime.”

Matchbox the Movie marks her first movie in nine years and the actress talked about it during the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, sharing how she was “inspired” by the cars and the nostalgia, as well as the cast.
