Paige DeSorbo Reveals What She Misses About ‘Summer House’ & Why She Doesn’t ‘Boast’ About Her New Relationship

Paige DeSorbo is opening up about life after Summer House.

The 33-year-old Giggly Squad co-host joined the show in season three and left after season nine.

Following seven summers of filming a reality show, Paige find herself free of those obligations in summer 2025 and in a new interview, revealed what she misses about being on the show.

“Last summer came at me too fast. I was like, ‘Wait, what do people do in the summer?’” she told Variety. “I’ve relaxed. I think everyone needs a break from being perceived.”

However, there is one thing she does miss…

“I would justify all my purchases because I had to film. I need this outfit. Now when I’m shopping, I’m like, ‘Well I don’t need an arrival outfit for Friday afternoon.’ So that part is a little bit sad,” Paige said with a laugh.

When she was on Summer House, Paige was open about her relationships, including sharing her very public relationship with Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover. Now, she’s more private about who she dates.

While it’s known she is dating football marketing executive Joe D’Amelio, she keeps their relationship mostly offline and rarely talks about him on Giggly Squad.

“I’d like to say I put more thought into what I’m going to share or not, but I really don’t,” she told Variety about her podcast. “With my family members or dating, I don’t share as much because there’s other people involved.”

“When you’re on reality TV, it’s kind of your job to say everything that you’re thinking. Now if it doesn’t come up naturally, I’m not going to force it,” Paige added with a shrug. “I’m not boasting about my relationship, because it is pretty much like everyone else’s. I’m kind of, like, ‘Who cares?’”

Earlier this summer, Paige responded to engagement rumors.

If you missed it, Paige is returning to TV with a new scripted series with Hannah Berner, which they will co-write with Kay Cannon and star in.

Of the upcoming comedy, the former reality star teased with Variety that they were inspired by “feel-good” and “easy-to-watch” sitcoms like New Girl and Broad City.

“We want it to feel like us,” Paige said. “There’s definitely a millennial feel to the show.”
