Frances Bean Cobain Makes First Red Carpet Appearance in 8 Years

Frances Bean Cobain is making a rare return to the red carpet!
The 34-year-old daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain stepped out for a special screening of the new movie The Deputy on Tuesday night (September 22) at Landmark Theatres Sunset in Los Angeles.
The appearance marked Frances‘ first time walking a red carpet in eight years. While she was spotted at a Moschino fashion show in 2019, her last red carpet appearances were back in 2018.
For the screening, Frances wore an oversized brown leather jacket over a distressed graphic T-shirt, which she paired with black shorts and white boots.
Frances Bean Cobain Is an Executive Producer on The Deputy
Frances serves as an executive producer on the upcoming crime thriller, which stars Duke Nicholson, William H. Macy, Tiffany Haddish, Stephen Dorff, Billie Lourd and Julia Fox.
Duke, Tiffany and Julia were all in attendance at the special screening, along with director Matt Sukkar, Colleen Camp, executive producers Frances and Jesús Ortiz Paz, Ben Smith-Petersen, Craig Stark, Treylan Newton, Ritchie Montgomery, Alyssa Villa, Brennan Bruso and Cory Demeyers.
Special guests included Tallulah Willis, Jason Reitman, Devon Lee Carlson, Sydney Carlson, Lorraine Nicholson and Jennifer Nicholson.
The Deputy follows rookie Deputy Toby Sawyer (Nicholson), who is assigned to guard a dead body by Chief Kreuger (Macy). After the corpse disappears, Toby’s search leads him into a web of corruption, with Deputy Amanda Jackson (Haddish) becoming his ally.
The movie hits theaters on Friday, September 25.
Frances and husband Riley Hawk welcomed their first child, son Ronin, in September 2024.
