Madonna & Charli xcx ‘Danceteria Afterhours’ New Details, Madonna’s VMA Nominations

Madonna and Charli xcx are sharing some new details about their upcoming collaboration!
The two superstars announced last week that they’ve teamed up for “Danceteria Afterhours,” which arrives Thursday (September 24), and now we know that longtime Madonna collaborator Stuart Price produced the track.
The new version of “Danceteria,” from Madonna‘s No. 1 album Confessions II, is described in a press release as celebrating the early influences that helped shape both artists’ careers.
The collaboration is now available to pre-order on Madonna‘s web store in three different versions.
The 3-track CD single features the Afterhours Mix with Charli xcx, as well as the Harry Romero remix and the original verison.
Madonna Just Added Two More VMA Nominations
There’s even more big news for Madonna ahead of this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards.
The “Bring Your Love” superstar has received two additional nominations, bringing her career-high total for this year’s ceremony from 11 to 13 nominations.
The new nominations come in the newly announced Best Long-Form Video and Best Album categories. She remains the most-nominated artist at this year’s ceremony.
Madonna will open the VMAs on Sunday (September 27), marking her first performance at the awards show in 23 years. Find out who is nominated!
