Cardi B brought serious star power to a good cause, hosting a Beverly Hills fundraiser for the Hollywood Cares Foundation, a founder-backed nonprofit of Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked.

The intimate dinner, held at a private estate, welcomed roughly 50 guests and raised funds to support youth leadership and civic engagement programs for underserved young people in Stockton.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, the evening kicked off with a cocktail reception before transitioning into a private dinner prepared by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. The setting made for an elevated, personal atmosphere fitting for a cause close to Jason Lee’s heart as both a media founder and Stockton’s Vice Mayor.

The fundraiser pulled in an impressive mix of entertainment, business, and philanthropic figures. Attendees included Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Law Roach, Bozoma Saint John, Evan Ross, Mona Scott, Tyrese and Joyner Lucas, alongside Steven Cloobeck and Lou Young III.

The guest list also included notable donors like Gary Vaynerchuk, Paris Hilton and billionaire philanthropist Robert Smith, underscoring the growing support behind Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked-adjacent nonprofit work in recent years.

Reflecting on the fundraiser, Lee made clear that the evening represented far more than a night of celebrity mingling.

“Stockton’s young people deserve the same access to opportunity as anyone else, and nights like this remind me that people are willing to show up for that belief,” he said in an official statement.

Money raised from the Beverly Hills dinner will support several of the foundation’s programs in Stockton, including its Leadership Unlocked youth summits, I AM READY leadership workshops and Toys for Joy community outreach. The organization also supports programming focused on civic engagement, personal development, and mental health and wellness resources for underserved youth.
