Perez Hilton Update: Blogger Remains Hospitalized, New Statement Released

There’s a new update about Perez Hilton.

A statement posted to the 48-year-old gossip blogger’s website revealed that he is still in the hospital.

The statement began, “To everyone who has reached out, checked in, and kept Perez and our family in your thoughts, THANK YOU!”

They added, “At this time, Perez remains hospitalized and is receiving the medical care he needs. His treatment is continuing in an inpatient setting under the care of a dedicated team of medical and mental health professionals.”

They shared that “Perez’s health remains the priority.”

If you did not see, police were called to the 48-year-old blogger’s Miami home earlier this month amid concerns as he appeared to commit acts of self-harm and was covered in blood during a livestream. He was then transported to the hospital, where he was reported earlier this week to be in serious but stable condition.

Earlier this week, Perez‘s sister recounted what happened, noting she did not recognize him when she looked at him.
