Michael Thorbjornsen is the golf world’s hottest new star following his win at the 2026 Rocket Classic.
The 24-year-old pro golfer shot a 63 in the final round to win the tournament on Sunday (August 2) at the Detroit Golf Club, marking his first PGA Tour title.
“I’ve been in that position a few times this year and didn’t have the outcome I wanted. I knew how to handle it and so I gave it my all and figured what’s the worst that can happen?” Thorbjornsen told Golfweek after the win.

It looks like Charley was in attendance at the tournament as she shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Michael being interviewed after the win.
