Sandra Oh might be the next big name joining the cast of the upcoming film from directing duo Daniels.

The 54-year-old Killing Eve star is in talks to join Matt Damon in the much buzzed-about project from Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, following their award-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once.

There are still no major details about the project, which has been a closely guarded secret at Universal, via Deadline.

We do know that the movie is set to hit theaters on November 19, 2027.

The directors have reportedly been working on the project for three years, which is described as “involving global warming, time travel, as well as a possible superhero angle. And there are two timelines, one set in the 1980s and one set in present day. The protagonists of the story are teens…at least in the 1980s-set timeline,” via THR.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as the Daniels, made their feature directorial debut with 2016’s Swiss Army Man. Their last project, Everything Everywhere All at Once, was released in 2022 and won seven of its 11 Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay for the Daniels.

At first, they were reportedly interested in Ryan Gosling for the supporting role as the father of one of the teens, but it ultimately didn’t work out. Find out who else was considered before landing on Matt.
